Resident and Fellow Committee (RFC)
The committee will (1) advise the RSNA Board of Directors on the need for and effectiveness of RSNA programs for members-in-training; (2) identify, develop and promote relevant programming for RSNA members-in-training at the RSNA Annual Meeting, through liaison relationships with the Scientific Program Committee, Refresher Course Committee, Education Exhibits Committee, the Radiology Informatics Committee, and other committees as appropriate; (3) nominate interested members-in-training for consideration by the RSNA Board for appointment to RSNA committees; (4) provide input on resident/fellow resources on RSNA.org; (5) provide input on resources for residents attending the annual meeting (lodging, restaurants, transportation, viewing the exhibits, etc.); (6) provide input on social networking tools utilized by RSNA; (7) convene groups of trainees to discuss issues of common concern; (8) promote and encourage RSNA membership; (9) author relevant articles for RSNA publications/blogs; and (10) provide input on career development resources.
